چکیده
The diffusiophoresis of a soft particle governed by an imposed ionic concentration gradient is studied based on modified ion transport equation. surface the rigid core considered to be hydrophobic, which coated with charged polyelectrolyte layer (PEL) whose dielectric constant different from dispersion medium. This step-change in PEL and medium creates partitioning effect. governing equations coupled Navier–Stokes–Nernst–Planck–Poisson are incorporate A simplified model linear perturbation technique under small applied scale radius developed. agrees well exact numerical solutions for Debye length smaller than size. We have analyzed impact slip permittivity mobility particle. interfacial enhances charge density diffusiophoresis. In this case, reversal occurs at thinner compared hydrophilic core. Ion attenuates mobile counterions PEL, leading reduction screening fixed charge. find that non-z:z asymmetric electrolyte strongly depends valence counterions. Diffusiophoresis KCl-NaCl mixture achieve positive mobility.
